PRESCHOOL
ENRICHMENT PROGRAM

At Little Bear Daycare, we use the Preschool Enrichment Program which uses the 'Developmentally Appropriate Practice' curriculum.  The Center’s goal is for each child to develop the skills for positive success in this educational program and future experiences.  Cognitive, social, emotional, language, literacy, and physical development domains are the foundation for this education program.  These domains are evident in the classroom environment and weekly lesson plans.

The center provides preschool classes for children whose parents are interested in preschool only. Children ages 4 and 5, that will enter kindergarten the following school year attend on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.  Children ages 3 and 4 attend classes Tuesday and Thursday.  Sessions are conducted from 8:30-11:30 AM.  Children enrolled in the daycare will also participate in the enrichment program by attending sessions in the preschool classroom.

Fall and Spring Parent/Teacher conferences are scheduled to inform parents of the progress of their children.  However, teachers are always available for ongoing communication and parents are always welcome at any and all times to observe our program.
