Firstly, we wish to express our gratitude for the tremendous turnout at our meeting to try to save the Daycare.  We would like to especially thank the people who went above and beyond.  Despite the zoning board’s prior stance of being unwilling to do anything, yesterday the board issued a thirty day extension.  This was accomplished thanks to the efforts of some of the parents.  While notice of the extension came almost too late, we were able to start work last night to ensure that the Daycare would continue to have sewage service.  The final result is that the Daycare will be able to stay open until closer to the final deadline for the ‘cease and desist’ notice.  Furthermore, the more reasonable timeline will allow us to prove our commitment to exploring every possible option to keep Little Bear Daycare open far into the future.  We are confident that a long term solution is attainable.  More than anything, as long as it is legally possible, we want all parents and employees to know that we are firmly committed to keeping the Daycare open at any cost.

We realize that some parents may have already made arrangements for your children to attend daycare elsewhere.  Please accept our offer to reimburse any non-refundable registration fees so your child may continue to attend Little Bear.
